GOD LOVES SINNERS TOO

John 3:16,17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

God loves us, but at the same time he hates the sin in our lives! The problem is how to save the person, but kill the sin. A well known, but now deceased, writer of tracts, teacher, and evangelist in America wrote one tract titled "Good News Worse than Cancer cured!" Brother DeWelt likened sin to cancer. In the case of cancer, radiation or chemotherapy deal with the delicate balance between balance between killing the cancer cells but not the healthy cells in the patient's body. One must nearly kill the patient in order to save him, and sometimes this does not work.
The sin in our lives must die in order to save us eternally. This God accomplishes through his Son Jesus Christ. This never fails! The purpose of this lesson is to show us his plan revealed through his word.
